Description
An aquatic plant floating on still water with submerged root systems. Thick, succulent leaves store moisture and have a bluish bloom.
Flowers are small, star-shaped, blooming in umbels of 12-20, colored pale silver. Blooms after long silences.
Habitat
Found only near standing stones and ancient earthworks.
Traditional Uses
Poultices of crushed leaves applied to ease minor aches.
Folklore
Children believed it could reveal hidden paths through forests.

Resembles Losttear.
Conservation
Locally common but declining in some parts of its range.
Field Notes
Often found in the company of other shade-loving species.
