Description
A succulent storing water in thick, fleshy leaves. Broad, paddle-shaped leaves with prominent parallel veins.
Composite flower heads resemble small moons with ray and disc florets, colored shadow purple. Blooms only in leap years.
Habitat
Grows in the shadow of libraries and places where books are kept.
Traditional Uses
An infusion was used as a hair rinse for shine and strength.

Stories tell that it only flowers for those who have kept a secret well.
