Description

A shrubby perennial with woody stems and aromatic foliage. Feathery, finely divided leaves resembling green lace.

Papery bracts surround insignificant true flowers, colored honey amber. Blooms during thunderstorms.

Habitat

Native to nowhere, found everywhere - a cosmopolitan wanderer.

Traditional Uses

Pressed flowers preserved in books were exchanged as tokens of affection.

Folklore

Said to be beloved by bees from hives that produce the clearest honey.

Similar Species

May be confused with Dewtear.

Status unknown - more surveys needed.
