Description

A succulent storing water in thick, fleshy leaves. Feathery, finely divided leaves resembling green lace.

Flowers are small, star-shaped, blooming in umbels of 12-20, colored dusty rose. Blooms when specific stars align.

Habitat

Prefers boggy meadows and the margins of still water.

Traditional Uses

Traditionally used as a sleep aid, with dried leaves placed under pillows.

Folklore

Once woven into wedding bouquets to ensure fidelity.
