Description
A climbing vine that seeks moonlight, turning its leaves toward the night sky. Compound pinnate leaves with 7-13 leaflets arranged alternately.
Composite flower heads resemble small moons with ray and disc florets, colored pale silver. Blooms at dawn on equinoxes.
Habitat
Found only near standing stones and ancient earthworks.
Traditional Uses
The sap was used to make a temporary ink that fades over weeks.
