Description

A parasitic species drawing nutrients from host trees through haustoria. Needle-like foliage arranged in spirals along the stem.

Fragrant flowers release their scent only under specific conditions, colored dawn pink. Blooms at dawn on equinoxes.

Habitat

Native to high alpine screes above the treeline.

Traditional Uses

The seeds were carried as charms for safe travel.

Folklore

Stories tell that it only flowers for those who have kept a secret well.
