Description

An evergreen with persistent leaves that last multiple seasons. Heart-shaped leaves with downy undersides and serrated margins.

Flowers have six tepals and emit a faint bioluminescent glow, colored luminous gold. Blooms at dawn on equinoxes.

Habitat

Native to high alpine screes above the treeline.

Traditional Uses

Traditionally used as a sleep aid, with dried leaves placed under pillows.

Associated with poets and those who work with words.
