Description
An ephemeral annual appearing only during specific astronomical events. Thick, succulent leaves store moisture and have a bluish bloom.
Tiny florets cluster in dense spherical heads atop tall stalks, colored copper orange. Blooms during the new moon.
Habitat
Appears in gardens that have been tended with love for generations.
Traditional Uses
An infusion was used as a hair rinse for shine and strength.
Folklore
Believed to mark the boundaries between the seen and unseen worlds.
Similar Species
Often mistaken for Stoneberry.
