Description
A tall biennial with a deep taproot and rosette of basal leaves. Narrow, grass-like leaves emerge in dense tufts from the base.
Five-petaled blooms spiral open in a Fibonacci pattern, colored deep violet. Blooms when specific stars align.
Habitat
Found in ancient forests where the canopy blocks all but dappled light.
Traditional Uses
Poultices of crushed leaves applied to ease minor aches.
Folklore
Planted on graves to help the departed find peace.

Rare and protected - do not collect without permission.

Best observed in early morning when dew collects on the leaves.
