Description
An evergreen with persistent leaves that last multiple seasons. Leaves are translucent and veined with gold, visible when backlit.
Fragrant flowers release their scent only under specific conditions, colored luminous gold. Blooms at the summer solstice.
Habitat
Colonizes disturbed ground, often the first to return after fire.
Traditional Uses
Tea brewed from young leaves was believed to improve memory.
