Description
A climbing vine that seeks moonlight, turning its leaves toward the night sky. Foliage consists of deeply lobed palmate leaves with purple venation.
Blooms change color as they age, from white through pink to purple, colored pale silver. Blooms when specific stars align.
Habitat
Native to high alpine screes above the treeline.
Traditional Uses
Dried flowers were burned as incense during ceremonies.
Folklore
Children believed it could reveal hidden paths through forests.
